Sharing tracks: no longer displays URL previews when sent

My Question or Issue

I'm not sure if this is an Android issue or Spotify issue. About 5 months ago, my texting app Google Messages stopped displaying track previews for all URLs, both on the phone app and the Chrome extension. So now I have no way to tell what the track is until I click the link/URL. 

Is there a solution for this? I've put in about an hour or two of research and haven't found anything directly related. Please helps!

You can also check your Google Message settings to see if you've allowed previews.

They should be able to help further.
