My Question or Issue

 I would like to get rid of shuffle play on my phone and I can't do it. There is literally no shuffle icon that I can click on. Hoever on my laptop, I have the option to turn off shuffle. Why are two experienes different?

And is it possible to turn off shuffle, I spoke to a represenative and they say that it can't be turn off and when I asked why, no answer. I am trying to understand why there isn't an option to turn off shuffle. Any insider info would be helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out. Welcome to the community!

With Spotify free on mobile, any playlist with the Shuffle icon  can only be played in shuffle order. However, playlists without the shuffle icon can be played in any order, allowing you to pick individual songs, and skip as much as you like.

If you'd like the option to listen to every playlist on the Spotify mobile app without shuffle, you'll need to upgrade to Premium.
