Shuffle disabled automatically for google alarm

My Question or Issue

My alarm will not shuffle the songs on the playlist. Select the playlist and it plays the first song. I select open app and select shuffle, go back to the alarm and it has deactivated the shuffle, rinse and repeat. I have attempted a clean install and multiple devices.

I've got the same issue. I tried setting it to shuffle manually but it resets every time. I logged out and back in, I did a clean install, nothing works.

Update:

Updated to Android 11 and now it works fine. Although the song that plays when I select the playlist in the alarm settings, is always the same.
