Shuffle no longer working after update

My issue

When at work, I like to shuffle my saved songs library. With the new update, I'm shuffling my liked songs playlist. 

After it shuffles for a certain amount of time, it'll stop shuffling and start playing songs newest to oldest. 

I then have to unlock the phone to click shuffle play again. I have a suspicion it has to do with the phone sleeping/hibernating.
