Shuffle of playlists not working

My Question or issue

I keep having this issue where my playlist that I have that has over 4,000 songs won't shuffle. it'll choose a number of songs from the first 25 to 30 songs or so and shuffle only those . Sometimes I'll choose a track much further down the list and start shuffling from there but it'll still go back to the first artist in the playlist after that song .

I've tried signing out and then signing back in. I've tried reinstalling. It's very frustrating and it's enough that I'm tempted to leave Spotify over it. I've even gone to other devices that I've used Spotify for and tried signing out of those and it's still not working. Help!

Spotify is aware of the issue with the shuffle option and it is under investigation. You can check it and follow the updates here
