Some songs will repeat 2-3 times without repeat one mode enabled

For the past month (at least), a lot of songs will repeat 2-3 times even if the repeat one mode is not enabled. For some reason, it doesn't seem to happen with every artists. I always use the shuffle mode and I use the repeat mode as well (not the repeat one mode).

At first, I thought the it happened because the song appears on multiple albums but I confirmed that this is not the reason and I have a coworker that has the exact same issue.

That sounds like it shouldn't happen! Have you tried reinstalling the app using these instructions?

Keep in mind that when using Shuffle, every song is being chosen random so the chance that the previous song will play is just as big as the chance that a song that hasn't played yet will play.
