Song Repeats for Artist with Small Number of Songs on Huawei P20

I have noticed that for artists with a small number of songs, when pressing “shuffle” that the same song repeats. This is occurring on the Huawei P20 device, not sure if it pertains to all Huawei Devices or OS Version 9.

It happens to me as well, but even with artists with large discographies. 

And I've noticed quite a few posts now about shuffle function not working correctly, so I think it's a bigger issue.

Perhaps it's the expected behaviour of the app, but it is poor UX for the user having to open the app and skip the song if it repeats. There should be some logic to skip the song automatically when detected as 'already played'.

There's a relevant idea about that which you can add your vote to here.

Alternatively, if you'd like to create your own idea, you can head here and do so. That way, other users can vote for it too and if the idea gathers enough votes, then Spotify will consider implementing it.
