Song info not updating past currently playing song on Nissan Sentra 2020

My Question or Issue

So, I have tried clean installing Spotify, clearing the cache and this does not help. I have tested this with an iPhone 11 and it works just fine. On the Sentra site it says the Pixel 6 Pro is compatible. I have to close Spotify for the song info to update, but it stays stuck on the 1st song being displayed.

We appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far. To continue with the process, would you mind confirming if the connection between your Pixel and your car is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or with an AUX cable? 

It would also be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your Pixel - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists when connecting with your car. This will give us a better look at the issue.

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running on your phone to continue investigating your case.
