Songs play 2 seconds and stop/get stuck

I have a free account for Spotify and since a week I started to have some issues playing my playlist on my smartphone (Android 6.0 - last spotify version installed)

From time to time, every two or three songs, a song plays only 2 seconds and get stuck, the song doesn't play anymore (sometimes an ad message is displayed )  and the only way to continue listening it is skip the song and reproduce the next one.

It is very annoying, because when you spend all the next song options associated to the free account you are forced to restart application.

What is the issue?

I've experienced the same issue in the past too. It is certainly frustrating! I think it might have something to do with your internet, as when I upgraded to a fibre plan this stopped happening to me. You could also try playing from a different device and seeing if the same problem occurs?

It is only happening with my smartphone. With the pc, same internet
conection, there isn't any problem.

Sorry I don't know how to fix this 😕 For me, it was only one device too.
