Sony Android TV kdl-43w800c, freezing, not playing tracks

unfortunately this app is extremely buggy. design is great but playing tracks is a nightmare. sometimes tracks just don't play and other times a track will finish and it will 'freeze' and not play the next track (or any other track in any playlist). i have to force stop and/or reset to fix this. its very frustrating. the android tv i'm using is a sony kdl-43w800c. does anyone has a solution to fix this?

I don't have an Android TV - But on my Samsung Smart TV I find that hard rebooting the TV often fixes niggly issues such as this. To do this remove the power cord from the TV, wait about half a minute then plug it back in.

If you're still having issues - try uninstalling the app and re-installing it.

Yes I have done all of that multiple times and I still have the same issue... frustrating. Songs continue to 'freeze' and not play the next song in the playlist.

It may be that you need to factory reset your TV? Instructions on how to do this are below:

1. Please perform Update on your Internet Video Services:
Press Home button on your remote > Select Settings > Go to Network > Select Refresh Internet Content.

2. Perform factory reset on your TV:
Turn on the TV > While holding down UP ARROW BUTTON on the remote
control > press the POWER BUTTON on the TV. (The TV will turn itself off,
then back on again.) Release UP ARROW BUTTON.
NOTE: The reset will clear all of your customized settings including the Parental Lock setting.
