Sony MDR-10RBT - Play/Pause button wont work with spotify

Hi!

This headset is paired with Samsung Galaxy Note 2 3g - N7100

The button works well with phonecalls and the original music player that came with the phone.

With Spotify the volume -/+ and skip track work, but the pause/play button wont work..

I recon its a software issue in Spotify?

Spotify doesn't support bluetooth so results are pretty mixed I'm afraid. Some work, some don't and until Spotify adds proper BT support I guess all we can do is try headsets until we find ones that work. There is an idea here which touches on some of the issues.

Hi I'm using Sony MDR-XB950BT and most of the issues you mentioned is the same for me, only one exception: pause works, but play doesn't work 😄 

As you said, skip track is working but for play/pause, it's really weird that i can pause the song but can't play it with pressing again. I'm just skipping one track forward and then backward to play it.

For volume up/down, buttons are working but they're just increasing/decreasing the volume of the headset, not spotify. Your volume button also working like mine or it's controlling spotify's volume bar ??

I hope Spotify will include a solid Bluetooth Support for every device.
