Hey guys i bought a new android phone and downloaded the spotify app. I've got a 4GB sd-card in it and now the problem is when i open the spotify app a message appears in which stands: No SD-Card found ... Spotify doesn't find a place to save files ... Check if there is enough memory on the sd-card aviable. (sry for that bat translation i'm german 😉 ) i want to buy spotify premium but if it's not possible to run spotify without problems there is no sense to buy. I hope you could help me.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The most recent version of Spotify for android does support SD card storage.
Can you try all of the steps in the android troubleshooting guide and see if that helps at all?

Hi there
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but as far as I know, Spotify wont save your music to your SD card. Im having the same problem and trying to find a fix or an update as to when this feature will be added.
We used to be able to choose a download location but not anymore.
Im not sure why you're getting that error though unless there's no room on your internal memory, otherwise spotify should start downloading to there.
