I've noticed in the past week or so that when I listen to songs on Spotify there are times where it just randomly skips a track. It will just complety skip it. Most of the time it's the last track on the album, it just goes right back to the beginning. Most if the time it seems to happen when I'm streaming instead of playing downloaded tracks. But there is no long gap like it's trying to load the nex song, it just immediately goes to the next tone. Sometimes I don't even notice it happens until I realize there was a particular track I didn't hear.
Hey @dbarila,
You should try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that'll fix the issue.
Got the exact same problem here. Not just the last track, but any track in the playlist. And this list is fully downloaded. I'm using the Android version on a Pixel XL.
I've been listening to albums in the list view (Not the view with the album cover) and I haven't had any skips so far. Anyone else able to confirm that they're not getting any skips when listening in this view?
Hi, I'm having the same problem on my Samsung s6. It started once I actually started paying for the service. I have tried the following with no success:
1. Uninstalled and reinstalled app
2. Turned off the gapless play and crossfade.. And then tried different combinations of on and off with those 2 items
3. Made sure app is updated
4. Uninstalled all competing music apps such as Amazon prime music and the standard Samsung music app.
5. Listening only on the list mode and then only on the option that has album cover
My phone is also running on the newest up date. I never had any issues with Amazon prime, I don't have issues with buffering Netflix or YouTube videos in either wifi or cell data. I have Verizon service if that makes a difference. And the skipping happens on wifi or cell data, in the car, when it's resting on a table or in my pocket.
Is there any suggestion? Thank you
