Spotify App stops while playing a specific song

Solved!

Spotify App stops while playing a specific song

Hi together, I really feel kind of lost because I have no clue what is going on.

It goes like this: Lets say I have Song XYZ in my Playlist. Works fine on Web and Windows. Now If I am playing XYZ in my Android App, I hear music, but no info about the duration (0:00) will be shown and after a few seconds (about 20s) it stops playing and freezes (while this strange 20secs it is not possible to change the song). It is ALWAYS the same song, deleting and reloading it doesnt work. So then I thought ok sad enough I delete this song. But then this issue with another song starts. Same symptoms and all...

(Annotation: With downloading I mean making it offline available of course...)

I hope you can help me,

Adrian

If Spotify is crashing or stopping midway through a track, try the following:

-- Restart your phone (remove the battery for 30 seconds if possible).
-- Connect to a different network and see if the problems persist.
-- Perform a clean reinstallation.

Hey thanks for your response, I can say I tried all of this. Number one and two I already tried, Number three I was forced to as I had to send in my phone for some repairing.

I also tried a clean install (I wiped every data before)

Hi. It sounds like the cache has somehow got corrupted. Reinstalling spotify, following all the steps here, should fix it.
