Spotify App thinks I have downloaded to 3 devices but I haven't

Spotify App thinks I have downloaded to 3 devices but I haven't

HI,

I know there are lots of posts about how to get spotify to download to an sd card and I have tried and tried everything I have read and none of it has worked.  This has resulted in the app telling me I have downloaded to the maximum of 3 devices when in actual fact I have only downloaded to my phone and the internal memory now full.  Was trying on another device trying to get on to sd card and keeps failing telling me it could not find an sd card and yet my device is telling me I have 64gb so have uninstalled the app on several occasions and now only on my phone.  When I went on my phone earlier the app informed me it would delete all downlaods I had actually managed to do because of this 3 device policy and yet now I have nothing downlaoded anywhere.

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to fix it?

Thanks

Go to www.spotify.com/account and from here clear your offline devices.

As for your initial problem; what device and Android version are you running?

Thanks very much, didn't think of that sorting the issue. Will give it a try. I am using 2 different devices: an old Samsung Galaxy S2 as a music player in my car and my phone a sony ericsson z1 compact. As for which android version I am afraid I have no idea and don't know how to find that out from my phone?
