My Question or Issue

I've beeb having problems using the "add to queue" option while using Spotify on my Chromecast. Usually it let's me just add to queue, but now it keeps telling me that it's a premium feature. I googled to see if it's a new update, but i didin't find anything like that. I haven't had Spotify premium in years, so it didin't stop working because of that. How can i fix this? Or this just some new update?

Thanks posting here in the Community! We'll gladly shed some light on the situation.

 

Keep in mind that Free users are able to listen on demand only specific playlists. You can find out more here. Because of this you won't be able to queue the songs in a specific order.

 

One possible workaround would be to create a playlists with the tracks you want and then stream in via Chromecast in Shuffle mode.
