Spotify Premium android app does not recognize my phone

Spotify Premium android app does not recognize my phone

Hi,

I pay a premium account for a couple of months and since last week, the app does not recognize my account on my phone and tablet. This is Extremely anoying as I pay a Swiss account, which is expansive.

Generally, I never pay for a useless service  so I'm thinking of cancelling my premium account. If anybody has a solution or has the same problem, it would be great to share.

Regards,

J

I'm Sorry but this does not work.

please provide me a real solution. IT is really important for me to have a service that I can use.

Best Regards.

I don't work for Spotify, so I am just trying to help you out.

Can you verify your subscription is active by logging into your online account here and having a look at your subscription status. If it says you have premium, then make sure you are logging in using exactly the same details on your devices.

You can also try force closing the Spotify application, fully restarting your device and then trying to log in again.

I had the same issue. I re-installed the app on my computer and phone and nothing happened. I right clicked on the spotify desktop icon and ran it as an Administrator. Then I tried turning off all the firewalls to my computer and bam. My phone was recognized. I was able to sync all my music and then I turned all the firewalls back on once it was done.

I hope this helps.

Diabling the firewalls worked for me.  Phone recognized right away, and synching occurred immediately.  Then I re-enabled the firewalls.  So, good for that.  But some tracks in a playlist still did not load.  Plenty of memory. These are songs I loaded on my pc from an owned CD.  Thoughts?
