Spotify Restarts freezes and sometimes restarts my phone

Everytime i have WiFi on and open Spotify my mobile phone freezes , and sometimes restarts the device 

When i don't have wifi on it just simply freezes for 5 minutes before allowing me to playback ... 

I'm using HTC One M7
Android 5.0.2

Htc Sense 6

Software Number 7.19.401.51

Htc SDK API Level 6.55

This wasn't happening always , a few months ago a spotify update released and then the issues started happening , thanks for reading this , i hope i helped somehow

We’d like to know a bit more about what’s happening. Is this happening with all WiFi connections or just a specific one? Also, trying these exact steps should help with this.

it happens on ANY WiFi and even when i connect with 4G , it basically does it everytime i have spotify open and then try to connect online ... i'll try uninstalling and re-installing now on my phone

Completely uninstalling and re-installing fixed it ... 

i guess it was simple but for people with slow internet that is an issue ...
