Spotify Widget

I'm not sure who else this affects but the first time after geting the Spotify app on my Nexus 7 2013, the widget was a nice 4x1 size which would sit nicely in the middle of the screen, but after using Nova Launcher for a while (and unistalling Nova Launcher) the widget is now a horrid 3x1 size which can't seem to fit in anywhere.
I've tried re-installing Spotify and restarting my tablet but there's no luck, whats happened?

It's probably that the home sccreen grid size was different under Nova than your present launcher. If you're using Google Experience Launcher (GEL) then widget sizes seem to be a common complaint. Unfortunately, GEL won't allow you to resize the spotify widget either as far as I could tell form a quick try but you might have more success - tap and hold.
