Spotify abruptly stopped while listening to podcast and doesn't start again to where it has stopped.

Its been a couple of days that when I listened to a podcast that my Spotify will suddenly stopped. The app doesn't even appear on my nofication bar. Like I never opened it. At first I thought my poor internet connection make the app stops, but when I press play again to continue the podcast, it doesn't play where it stops. The podcast will start again from the beginning of the episode or it will start again at 15 minutes to 20 minutes early from when it abruptly stopped. Is it any way to fix it? Its a bit troublesome to me because I need to press skip multiple times to get to the point where it stopped to continue to listen. I had uninstall and install the app, but the problem still exist. The problem did not occur if I play music, it just occurred when I listened to a podcast.
