My Issue

The play/pause button does not function in Google Maps integration. The track time bar is broken. The current song is stuck. Restarting does not fix it. Uninstalling doesn't fix it. Closing and restarting doesn't fix it.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

We understand that you already tried reinstalling the app, but can you make sure to follow the steps in this article for a clean reinstall? That's more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might cause trouble.

 

Then, remove Google Maps from your account's Apps section here and connect it again to Spotify by following the steps in this article.

 

Lastly, restart your phone.
