Spotify connect does not work

I have a Pioneer Vsx-830 receiver and Im having problem using this with Spotify on both Andriod and Ipad since last week. On my device I get The option to connect to Vsx-830 but when I connect it just say "connecting" for a few seconds then nothing happens.

Have talked to Pioneer support but they could not help me

this is also happening with my Roberts Stream 93i. It had been previously connected and working fine but now won't connect. Anyone out there have any ideas?
