Spotify connect not seeing Pionner a1

Im trying to stream from my LG G2 to my Pioneer A1 wireless speaker through spotify connect but for some reason the speaker does not show up under spotify connect. I can see the speaker under upnp devices on my windows desktop and I made sure upnp was enabled in my router settings and even tried forwarding port 4070 but still no results. is thier something im missing here

Have you updated the firmware on the Speaker? On my Pioneer the firmware it shipped with wasn't up to date enough to support connect:
