Spotify connect on Android TV, guest playback ?

Back in the days I was using spotify gramafon for playback.

If I got a guest in the same wifi he is also ready to playback from his spotify client.

Now I am using spotify app on android tv and the guest have to use his login for playback?

I am confused.

How does it work with guest playback?

Hey @mielmann, welcome to the community!

Spotify connect changes depending on the device you use it with. Some devices require the same Spotify account to be logged in for you to use them remotely (e.g. Smart TVs, desktop/laptop).

However, some speakers and devices will be available if they're on the same WiFi as the app, or if they're paired via Bluetooth.

Why course different behavior on Spotify connect devices?

My Android TV device is an NVidia Shield TV. 

Basically Spotify Gramofon did it like I want it...

Guest playback has to be no issue.

Sadly, there isn't a way to have these devices open for any Spotify account to use on the go. However I'll gladly pass your feedback on to the right team about this.
