Hi there!
I have a strange issue here. For some reason every time I close this app it logs me out and deletes all of my music saved for offline use. It's obviously pretty annoying, because the offline was a big seller for me to keep spotify because I don't have data on my phone. Only WiFi use.
It only seems to do it when the app is on my SD card for some reason. I would move it back, but I put it on there so I could use the SD space for the offline music. Internal memory isn't great on my phone.
Oh, and I should add that I have reinstalled the app on my phone, restarted my phone, and have deleted all of my offline devices and reset my phone as one. No change.
Any ideas as to why this app would be behaving this way?
My phone is a Moto X Pure, running Android Version 6.0.
Cheers,
Ryan

Hey everybody!
Problem solved. After speaking with a very helpful (Honestly) Spotify rep on twitter, we sort of came to the conclusion that it just doesn't work on my Moto X Pure, and I'm assuming all of your Moto devices as well.
Here's my solution: Switch to Google Play Music. They have just as good of a selection of music and I can say from experince that you CAN use your sd card. They do a 30 day free trial. I say you all give it a go like I have.
I signed up for the trial and had music downloaded to my SD card in less than 5 minutes.
Hope this helps!
I also tried to put the app on my device and put my music on my SD through this tutorial,
https://support.spotify.com/us/using_spotify/troubleshooting2/save-to-sd-card/
but had no luck. I didn't even see a "Storage" selection in my settings.
No ideas? 😕
This is happening to me with my Moto X Pure as well!!! Honestly aggravated by this issue. I have been looking online and haven't seen any solutions to this problem. 😕
Is this going to be addressed? I am going on a major road trip in April and if this isn't fixed I'm going to have to move to GooglePlay Music.
I have been with Spotify since you've been in the US. I really really like the service, but apperently Motorola users aren't getting the same support as everybody else.
Anybody know if there's a place to issue a formal complaint?

Great solution!! It seems Spotify is not interested in fixing this problem, so cancelling Spotify and switching to a service (Amazon Music or Google Play Music) that actually allows you to download music (and not repeatedly delete it) is the BEST SOLUTION!!
