Spotify crashes when is playing music a long time

Spotify crashes when is playing music a long time

Hi!

I usually use Spotify at work and I have an special list for it with around 7-8 hours of length. Since the last 3 versions of Spotify app for Android, I have experienced some problems that didn't exist before. Here it is:

1 - I start my working day connecting the phone to the speakers
2 - I push the "random song" button at the top of the playlist
3 - After a few hours (2-4-6, whatever) spotify stops the music when some song ends and another has to start.

4 - When I'm going to check what happened, I push the power button to switch on the screen and it appears flashing until the phone is unlocked. Then, I open the app and I can't resume the play pressing play/pause button. I have to restart it pressing in another song or playlist. By restarting by this way implies repeating songs that were heard before.

More details

- Phone: Nexus 4 / Android 4.2.2 / Spotify 0.7.4.610.gd7332b3
- Sound options enabled: "Shuffle", "No pauses" and "Crossfade"
- The playlist contains some songs that were imported from a computer. (Some mp3 (local files) at my PC)
- Flight mode is enabled (it's a offline synchronized playlist)

This is the screen where the flash appears until I unlock the phone:

Can you try uninstalling then reinstalling the app. This will clear the cache so you'll have to redownload your playlist but will eliminate the possibility that the cache got corrupted as well as resetting the app itself. Please post if this happens again after the reinstall.
