Spotify does not update to premium

Spotify does not update to premium

I recently got spotify premium for family members. I added my wife and sent her the link. She then followed the steps and was able to create an account and log in. Unfortunately, it does not let her select songs and has to shuffle music... It asks her is she wants to start her free trial. Can someone please help me out with this issue. Thank you

Hey @Peck_earl,

 

It sounds like she has got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses she could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if she has any emails from Spotify -- that will mean her extra account is registered with that email.

 

  • If you she doesn't have another email address, note how she logs into the Spotify app usually.
  • If she uses herFacebook details, she should try entering herSpotify username (if shecreated one originally).
  • If she uses her Spotify username to log in, she should try to log in by entering just her email address and password.
