Spotify freezing up daily if not more

Lately my spotify has been acting up, and it's annoying the heck out of me.

Everyday it freezes up several times a day. It will still play music, but i can't skip songs, pause the music, or do anything at all in the app.

Even when closing the app it will continue to play.

Even when i pullout my headphones it will still continue to play.

It's so bad that spotify will make my other mp3 player freeze up as well.

When i try to open spotify again when i closed it because of it freezing, it'll only give me a black screen.

It takes a long time for it to return to normal

I'm using a sony xperia z3 compact running android 6.0.1

Is there seriously no one? How the **bleep** am i supposed to get support for this then if spotify only sends me to this forum???

Sorry for this taking a week, now and again the posts get buried under spam and it slips through the net.
