Spotify is asking me to buy premium to forward a song.

Spotify is asking me to buy premium to forward a song.

I tried to forward a song to listen to a specific part but then Spotify started to ask for premium and I tried again but it's still the same .

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

 

Sounds like you're using the free version of Spotify on mobile, which doesn't support scrubbing (skipping to specific parts of a song). We're often testing and launching improvements to the app though, so you might occasionally see something your friend doesn’t, or get a new feature to try temporarily.

I think in their recent update they made the change that only premium user can forward or rewind the song. this is sad to know but true, everyone is facing this.

When I click any timing of a song it is not playing going as the song was. No problem till nov 2023 after that I am facing this
