Spotify is slow and not responsive on new adroid update

My Question or Issue

Spotify is not optimised for the latest version of android so it very slow and sluggish to load anything at the moment. It also just freezes so I cant close the app or skip a song. Also on the lock screen if you skip forward to the next song or one after it just displays the current song but plays the song you skipped too so you cant see the song that is actually playing.

Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried any troubleshooting thus far? If so, what have you tried? If you haven't performed a full clean reinstall, please do so as that can help with a multitude of issues.
