My Question or Issue

Spotify used to cast to my Chromecast with some visuals from the Artist, the name of the song and the name of the Artist, like 10 days ago it only shows the Spotify logo and  also it skips the last like 15-20 seconds  of the songs, not always, but like 3 in 5 times it does that. I have already reset the Chromecast device, updated, etc also my Spotify is the latest version and I checked all settings ... Don't know how to fix it and it annoys me that it skips the last part of the songs.

Hi there @Sam11111,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please check the following:

  • If you cast from a laptop, does the same also happen?
  • Did you reinstall the app or just update to the latest version? Please perform a reinstall if you haven't already.
  • Does the same issue occur in different networks? You can use a hotspot from your phone if necessary to test this
