Spotify on android wont load much of anything

So I've been dealing with this problem for a while now, but it seems to be getting worse. The oddest part about this problem is that it wasnt consistent before. Essentially what happens is that spotify won't load any pages that isn't my main song library, the playlist tab, and any offline playlist. Spotify will try to load the page for a minute first, then give me a connection error. I know it has nothing to do with my router, since I get the same problem when using data, and I can still play songs from my main library (although sometimes that doesn't work either, or its just slow to move to the next somg). Restarting the app doesn't work, neither does reinstalling the app, which only fixes the problem temperarily. Sometimes a song will keep playing even though I've closed the app (this might be a different problem but it still sucks). I have no clue what's going on, has anyone had a similar experience? And please does someone know how to fix it?

im having the exact same issue on my mac book pro and its doing my head in! anything i try to do will not fix the issue!

This is exactly what is driving me nuts over the last months! I really can't use the app online, because then it freezes in some way and I have to wait a few minutes before there is anything working again. And the songs which you can't stop unless you turn your audio completely down is also veeery annoying.
