Spotify on mobile can't update, but still prompting to

Hello, I've been looking all around for a similar topic, but didn't find anything and decided to start my own.

Lately Spotify is constantly warning me that it cannot install an update because my version of Android is too low. When I had a Nexus 5 with Android M, it was pretty understandable because it indeed is an old phone, but last week I swapped it for a new one and again, the red popup message occurs. I am aware that Spotify has released a new special update, but I can't download it. I really don't know what the problem is now, my phone runs Android O and still nothing and it's been two weeks since I am seeing the annoying warning. According to the play store, the app is last updated on the 30-th of April. I've imported an image of the message prompting me to upgrade my OS. Can you please look up into the issue? I really tried everything, created cache, data, reinstalled Spotify. No result
