Spotify opens and closes after new update on android

Hello everyone, this is my first post in here. I am a premium member of Spotify.

After the new update 3.8.0.800 on android, my spotify opens and closes all the time. When I open the Spotify app, it launches and then closes after a few secounds and I have no idea of what is going on.

I have tried these "solutions", without any luck.

- Reinstalled the app

- Removed all data

- Restartet android

- Reinstalled Spotify and then restartet android.

Hope the community can help me solve this matter and thank you for your support.

you have two different options. you may have done this already, but try a manual update of the android os:

-settings

-about device

-system update

if that doesn't help, this should be a link to download the old android version of spotify. uninstall spotify, then download this one.

squithekid42 the link to the older version works and solves the problem. I had the same problem as Riis-98.
