Spotify picture saves to gallery randomly

After the most recent update to Spotify, I have been frequently closing out of Spotify and going to my gallery where I find a picture of the Spotify symbol, it never makes more then one I don't think. This has become quite annoying since I have to continuously delete it and I would like to know if this is client side or on Spotify's side.

I've checked my gallery and the icon isn;t showing, but then I'm on the beta so something might have changed.... Hopefully the next release will fix this for you. In the mean time if you want to hide the icon from your gallery you can create a '.nomedia' file in the folder containing the pictures you want excluded from the gallery.

To do this use a file explorer to navigiate to the folder with the picture you want excluded (in this case the Spotify icon). Then create a new file and simply call it '.nomedia'. Save the file and reboot.

Hopefully this will clear the picture from your gallery.
