Spotify playback keeps stopping

My Spotify (on Android latest version) stops two or three times during each track, which is incredibly annoying to say the least. This has only started to happen since I upgraded to the latest version of Android.

Before I ditch my beloved Spotify, I would be grateful for any suggestions (already reinstalled the app, its also has nothing to do with mobile reception as it still happens when connected to wifi)

I'm having the same problem.  I have the family subscription and have tried re-installing, logging out across all devices. Nothing seems to solve it. I may just have to try another streaming service.
