Sorry for the delay posting a reply to this post. Does this bug report here: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Android-Crash-randomly-since-last-update-4-10-868/id... match closely to your issue you are having? Which android version do you have, Spotify app version, and have you tried doing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app again?

Yes, same issue, although happens when listening to albums (instead of playlists) too.

Clean install tried and issue still happens.

Hey,
My spotify version is 4.2.0739.
My android version is 5.1.1.
My problem does resemble that issue.
I reinstalled the spotify app a couple of times, still crashes.
