Spotify skipping like a scratched CD - have tried multiple things

Hello,

I listen to spotify on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+) on a daily basis at work, and just within the last month it has started skipping during songs.  It's completely random.  I've tried all of the suggestions I've read on here so far (uninstalling, making sure it's an unmonitored app on the battery, turning notifications off, turning always on display off) and nothing has fixed it. 

Can anybody help?

Can you try heading to https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/ and clicking 'Remove All'?

This will mean re-downloading your offline tunes, but it'll make sure it's not a cache issue.

Were you able to try the steps suggested above by heading to https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/ and clicking 'Remove All' to see if this helps? 🙂

Can you try restarting your device, and connection? If that doesn't help, we'd recommend checking your browser's up-to-date.
