Hey Spotify community,
I am a Spotify Premium user and using Spotify on my Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.1.2.
The music stops playing randomly but frequently. I read in several forum about other users with the same problem. Is there any solution available?
Thanks for the help
Sven
Hi, and welcome to the Spotify community!
How fast is your wifi/3/4G LTE? If it is too slow, sometimes the stream can't keep up with the music and it stops to wait for the next part of the music to be downloaded.
Try syncing some songs to offline mode. Does it work then?
Try a reinstall if it doesn't fix.
If there are enough posts through different forums about it as you say, if it is a bug you can expect an update to fix it sooner or later, depending on how hard it is to fix.

Already reinstalled the app without fixing the problem.
The posts which I saw were already several months old. I really hope somebody can help. This is very annoying!

Hi,
Have you tried changing the music quality to something different?
If you have lots of playlists/songs, try reducing the number.
If it still doesn't work, feel free to head over to the contact page and submit a support ticket: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/

My phone keeps doing this (I have an S3) - but also with iplayer, youtube etc... at first I thought it was just spotify. Have you noticed this too?
I think my problem was, that I had too less RAM available. After putting a normal background and less widgets, the problems were gone.
Hi i have the exact same problem on android 4.1.2. it's like spotify mutes the song, the problem is solved when i skip the song. Its not a volume problem as it seems.
