Spotify stops regularly

Spotify stops regularly

Has anybody resolved their issue about Spotify stopping intermittantly, for no reason? I've reverted to the desktop PC and it stills stop, say for 10 seconds every 3 or 5 minutes. I used to use RDIO and it maybe stopped once every ten days, but it's gone. I tested my connection by streaming video simultaneously, and it didn't stop, but the Spotify song did. I get about 12Mbps download speed. I don't think this issue is Andriod exclusive. Please advise somebody! Thanks.

Hello @steveoooh & welcome to the Community!

I'd recommend you to follow these steps:

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
  2. Find Spotify in your list of apps.
  3. If you're able to, tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  4. Tap Uninstall to remove the app.
  5. Turn your device off and then back on.
  6. Open Google Play then search for and install the Spotify Music app.

Hope this helps! ♫

Hey @steveoooh

In that case, follow these steps:

  2. Click Start then select Control Panel.
  3. Click Programs thenPrograms and Features.
  4. Select Spotify in the list and click Uninstall.
  5. Press the keys Windows+R simultaneously.
  6. Type in "%appdata%" (Without the quotes).
  7. Search for the Spotify folder and delete it.
