Spotify suddenly will only let me Shuffle play

**bleep** just happened to my Spotify. For some reason it is telling me to upgrade premium just to play a song, **bleep** is this **bleep**. I understand that this is supposed to be a premium feature but that's stupid af, plus I've had the ability to play individual songs for the last two - three years and I don't have premium. It works fine on my laptop on my desktop on my tablet on my last two phones but suddenly my new phone which I've had for three months now with no premium and been able to pay songs individually suddenly stopped working. If this is supposed to be a premium feature why have I had it for the last 3 years with no problems but now it stops working. Kys Spotify

On the mobile app you can listen only on shuffle.

The situation with you is maybe you haven't updated your Spotify on your old phone for a long time.

On mobile, you get ad-supported, shuffle-only access on compatible devices. This means:

• You can’t stream specific songs on demand, and you’re only able to skip a track 6 times per hour.
