Spotify switches from SD storage to internal storage on hard reboot.

As the title stated, on reboot spotify switches to internal storage from SD. This makes it so i have to download my entire playlist once again. when i go to switch it back to the SD the storage is still acting like i have all my songs downloaded but when i switch back i still have to download them all again, which at nearly 4000 songs is a hassle.

This is an annoying issue, however, if I recall correctly, this issue is caused by how Android handles the SD card when the OS has freshly booted, it can cause the SD to go unrecognized by apps for a short time, I believe waiting to open Spotify for about 5 minutes after rebooting the phone should help, however, I will look into this and see if I can find anything that could help!
