Spotify won't play on my android phone

I'm not a premium member, but I've had Spotify on my phone since June. Recently my playlists will not play on my phone at all. I have tried logging in and out and have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Any help?

Every time I try to use the app with shuffle play it pops up that this is a premium feature only. I can't pick a song to play or shuffle play so there's very little keeping me from deleting the app and not using Spotify.
