My Question or Issue

Takes awhile for the music sound to start and once it does it will spotter and eventually stop altogether-progrees bar is always advancing.   Playing through Wi-Fi  with my heos link.   All other music apps (Amazon, SXM, Pandora, iHeart,etc) play perfectly using Heos.  I tried the cashe trick and all other reboot/reinstall suggestions- no help.   I love Spotify but can't take thuus issue any longer.  Apparently you can't ta in to a live person to help trouble shoot.  I guess I will have to go to Amazon but it is not nearly as user friendly plus I lose my play list.  Thus is going to hurt.

Thanks for posting in the Community and the troubleshooting you've already tried.

 

Could you check if you have the latest firmware on your Heos? What's the exact model of it? We also need the brand/model, operating system and Spotify version of the device, you're running the Spotify app on.

 

Here are some more things to try in the meantime:

 

  • Could you try connecting to the Heos through a different network, e.g. a hot spot through your phone?
  • Try using a different Spotify account.
  • If you have the latest firmware on the Heos, could you do a factory reset on it?

I have the same issue - Spotify has 30 days from today to collaborate with Heos to fix it or I am cancelling my premium subscription.  This issue has been known for over 90 days and is impacting with IOS and android users. 

Spotify is better than Pandora, but Pandora will get my $$ if not fixed in 30 days or less.
