Stop silent notifications interrupting music playback

My Question or Issue

Why can't Spotify identify my phones noise and notifications settings to let it detect that notifications are silenced, meaning it doesn't need to mute playback when a silent notification is received

An example is I'm working, Spotify is playing and a notification pops up, Spotify mutes (not pauses) for a second or two before playing again
