Stops playing randomly and comes back as soon as I open the app

I did an update on my Galaxy Note 5 from Tmobile. Since then spotify in not working properly. I start the radio, it plays 1 or 2 songs and it just stops randomly, but as soon as I open my phone and go on the spotify screen where the song is shown, it starts playing . Its almost like I have to keep the phone on the app and not let the screen go black or it will stop again. I did update the app too,at one point I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but still doing the same. I need some help please. Thank you
