Suggested songs completely irrelevant?

Suggested songs completely irrelevant?

I have been suggested Lady Gaga five times today, some Chris Brown, basically every awful pop icon I can think of, in the middle of albums... albums artists such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Hans Zimmer and Darren Korb.

This is past inconvenient and all the way to downright insulting. The entire reason I use Spotify is to avoid talentless pop icons. What is causing this? A programming error, or is Spotify paid by the icons in question to ruin my listening experience?

I mainly ask because this is a new occurrence. Just yesterday I was recommended sensible tracks, ex. the Halo Soundtrack if I was listening to the Assassin's Creed Soundtrack. And now, suddenly, this.

Assuming you're referring to radio? There have been some problems with artists that have been showing up in the stations, but it seems like some of them have been improving lately. This is probably going to just be a matter of waiting things out for now.

No, not radio, recommended tracks that pop up when shuffle playing an album.

Oh okay. That is probably still related to the radio issue. I'm not sure of how exactly that feature is set up, but I would assume it pulls from the same algorithm.
