I am not able to sync local files to my android device.
When I have the local files on my desktop, I put them in a playlist. Then I make the playlist available offline.
Then I open the playlist on my phone, click on available offline. As you can see in my screenshot, the songs stay grey instead of white, so when I click on them nothing happens so they can't be played.
It should be possible to play local files on my mobile device right?
I do have spotify premium.
Hello and welcome to the Spotify Community!
Weird... Have you got enogh space left?
If so, try to reinstall Spotify in your phone and try again.
Yes I have more than enough space left. re-installed it a minute ago, clicked on the available offline button, but nothing happens.. again.
Really don't understand what the problem could be. It are normal mp3 files converted with a youtube to mp3 converter.
Please, can you let me know which device, OS version and Spotify version are you using? I'll escalate this to Support.
I bought a brand new LG G4 3 days ago, with android 5.1 and spotify premium version 4.1.0.868.
Thank you!
Yes, all you have to do is to change the playlists you have got into 'avaiable offline'. However, if you sync too much music with your device you should check how much memory you have on your phone or tablet first.

Yeah I understand.. I have 54 GB space left, and the playlist is set to available offline. When I add a new regular spotify song it becomes available offline. When I add a new local song to a playlist, it does not become available. I understand how it all works, but there is definetely something wrong.
