Synching computer music to phone

I was wondering if there is anyway to synch my music from my computer on my phone. When I synch it to my computer I can only play the music from there. I can even download it for offline mode. But when I try for my phone it says "this song is not available". Is there any way to fix this or am I out of luck.

Are you trying to sync local files? (MP3s)

Or are you trying to sync music that Spotify has on its service?

If you want to sync local files, try this:

1. Using the desktop app, add Local Files you want to sync to a playlist.
2. Log into Spotify on your Android using the same wifi network as your desktop. Tap the  button.
3. Tap Your Music.
   
4. Tap Playlists.
   
5. Select the playlist containing the local music files and press the Available Offline switch at the top.
6. A green arrow will appear next to the songs in the playlist when syncing is complete.
