Syncing Local FIles

Syncing Local FIles

I have a few questions concerning syncing local files. Since Led Zeppelin aren't available on Spotify, I've included them in my local files on my computer. But since I also want to be able to listen to them on my phone (a Samsung Galaxy SIII), I tried syncing my files. It worked at first, the files became synced, but when I started Spotify on my phone later that day, the files weren't synced. I don't know if this was due to me not being connected to the Wi-Fi-connection which I originally synced the files from, or to me closing the program. Anyway, here are my questions:

- When I have synced my files, can I, or am I supposed to be able to, listen to them anywhere? Or do I have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi-connection as my computer to listen to the songs? If this is not the case, then I have another question for you:

- What caused this to happen? I mean, I had synced my files correctly but they still became "unsynced" after closing the program.

(BTW: I am a premium user.)

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

When you say "synced" did you follow the instructions here and put them in an offline playlist?
